Follow these simple steps to activate your license on a device without an internet connection:

Step 1: Open the Software

1. Install the software and open it for the first time.
2. The Materialise License Wizard will appear automatically.
3. Click Activate New License to begin.
   

Step 2: Select Offline Activation

1. Choose Activate Local License in the next window.
   .
2. Click on Offline Activation.
   

Step 3: Generate the Request File

1. When asked about the response file, click NO, GENERATE IT.
   

1. Enter your Activation ID(s). If you have more than one, click Add More to include them.
2. Click GENERATE to create a file named LicenseRequest.bin.
   
3. Save this file (e.g., in your Downloads folder).
   

Step 4: Use the Materialise End-User Portal

1. On a device connected to the internet, go to the Materialise End-User Portal.
2. Click on Offline License (De)activation.
   
3. For Upload type, select Generate license or confirm license reduction or return.
4. Click Choose File, then upload the LicenseRequest.bin file (use a USB stick if needed to transfer it).
   

Step 5: Download the License File

1. After uploading, the portal will confirm the license is generated.
2. Download the license file by clicking the provided link.
3. Transfer the file (e.g., via USB stick) back to your offline device.
   

Step 6: Activate the License on Your Offline Device

1. Open the License Wizard and go back to the Offline license activation screen (click Back twice if needed).
   
2. Select Activate Local License > Offline Activation.
3. When prompted, click YES (to indicate you have the response file).
   

Step 7: Finalize the Activation

1. Drag and drop the downloaded license file into the wizard, or click Choose Response File to locate and upload it.
2. Click Activate.
   
3. A confirmation message will appear. Click Finish to complete the activation.

Your license is now successfully activated!
